Ecos was retained by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to develop a master plan for the adaptive re-use of an existing, albeit run-down, business park into a new corporate administrative complex to serve Atlanta’s largest children’s healthcare provider.
Ecos worked closely with the Architects, as they were developing space plans and use programming, to determine where parking could be clustered and previously paved areas could be converted to greenspace. A new entry drive and arrival courtyard were designed to provide a sense of arrival and to create a park-like atmosphere for the employees.
The site development provides a major change in the appearance of a previously neglected business park - one that many had written off as terminally unattractive.
