The Community Hospital of Lancaster

Ecos was retained by the Owner to develop a master plan for a new 43 acre replacement hospital campus in rural Lancaster County., Pennsylvannia, an area known for it's Amish community. Ecos was the lead consultant of a design team comprised of Architects, MEPs, Civil, and Geotechnical Engineers.
A unique feature of the development of this site was the need for the owner to purchase Transferable Development Rights (TDRs) in order to fully develop the campus and preserve the Amish farms and rural setting of Lancaster County.
Ecos introduced an innovative stormwater management system on the site that was adopted by the Township Officials as their new standard for future projects.
