The Chattahoochee Hill Country Model Sustainable Village is the second phase of the Hill Country master planning process which 'renders visible' the concept of a compact village pattern. The sustainable Village concept provides a mix of uses organized around a center of live, work and play, that is surrounded by and integrates existing agricultural services and open space conservation.
The project redefines current development patterns for rural landscape by not simply focusing on growth and development, rather it emphasizes the protection of open space, the conservation of natural resources, alternative transportation modes, all the while promoting a healthier lifestyle and redefining the suburban concept of living well.
