Ecos was retained by Jamestown/Sembler to develop a landscape and streetscape plan for a high density urban retail project in the well know retail mecca of Atlanta, known as Buckhead.
Ecos recommended using a wider landscape buffer than required to allow for comfortable pedestrian passage along Peachtree Street. The urban streetscape treatment extends around the project on all four sides, providing much improved pedestrian access in this high traffic area.
Hardscape details include the scalloped edge of the walkway which brings a visual relief to the hard edges of the streets and adjacent buildings while also allowing for larger tree planting zones, for improved urban tree growth.
