From Olympic Venue to Baseball Field
Turner Field – Ahead of Its Time in Sustainability
It’s hard to believe that ten years has passed
since Atlanta was host to the world with the 1996 Centennial
Olympic Games! We see reminders of it everyday, when
we drive by the Olympic Torch. But some may not realize
that when they see a ball game at “The Ted” they
are seeing Olympic history there, too.

Miles and Miles of Trails
For over ten years, Ecos has worked with the PATH Foundation
on many of their multi-use trails in and around the metro
Atlanta area. These multi-use trails are designed for
biking, walking, jogging and skating. In the last two
years alone, Ecos has contributed to over eight miles
of completed trails, with over 30 more miles in the planning
stage.

Hospital Site Design: Creating a Positive
Experience from the Start
When a parent brings a child with a broken arm into
a hospital facility, the last thing on the parent’s
mind is how the facility was designed. But creating an
environment that allows easy access for cars, pedestrians
and emergency vehicles while at the same time addressing
such natural issues as stormwater drainage is foremost
in the minds of the landscape architects at Ecos who
design such facilities.
