The Far Reach of Ecos
At Ecos Environmental Design, Inc., we enjoy doing
work both in our own “neighborhood” of
Atlanta, as well as throughout the rest of the
country. Our work, stretches from the Southeast
to Pennsylvania, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado,
Washington State – and beyond the lower 48
to the Caribbean. This might entail preliminary
site due-diligence (obtaining geotechnical studies,
topography and boundary surveys, development standards,
and environmental site analysis), rezoning and
land-use amendments, obtaining agency review and
permitting, site planning, design and construction
document preparation, and construction observation
services
Kerry Blind, FASLA, president of Ecos, has certification
with the Council of Landscape Architecture Review
Boards (CLARB) that allows reciprocity throughout
the country. With eight additional licensed
landscape architects on staff, we have an extensive
grasp throughout the country. Currently, we carry
active licensure in the following states: Georgia,
Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina,
Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania,
New York, Washington State, Missouri, and Kentucky. In
addition, we have corporate certificates of authorization
in Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Our national practice has assisted in creating
a network of consultants across the country that
we have worked with and gives us a ready database
of contacts for any project that comes up. And
our “local” Hartsfield-Jackson International
airport allows us to reach over 65% of the US population
centers within a single two-hour flight.
While we are proud to be an Atlanta-based company,
more than half our staff has roots elsewhere
in the U.S.! When considering your next project,
be it here in Georgia or beyond, we can provide
the expertise you need…wherever you need!
